Import a CSV
Drop a CSV or QIF file here, or click to choose one
Most UK banks let you export CSV from their web app - usually under "statements" or "download transactions". QIF files (e.g. from Quicken) work too.
Categorisation rules
Rules run top-to-bottom. The first rule whose pattern is found in a transaction's description wins. Patterns are case-insensitive.

Planned vs actual
Compares your imported transactions for the chosen month against the smoothed monthly figures from your Plan. Under-budget = green, over-budget = red.

Insights
0 foundDerived patterns from your imported transactions - categories trending up or down, missed recurring charges, and unusually large variances.
Recurring & upcoming
0 detectedTransactions that look like a monthly cadence (Netflix, rent, subscriptions). Status checks whether each has appeared in the current cycle yet.
Spending trends
Per-category spend over recent cycles. Top categories shown; hover a dot for the exact amount.
Everyday spending review
Day-to-day spending (coffee, lunch, small shop) rarely earns its own Plan line. Tag the relevant tracker categories and this panel shows the totals per cycle, with a drill-down so you can spot frivolous spend to trim.
Build budget from transactions
Each merchant from your imported transactions is shown with one row per distinct amount it appeared at (so a setup payment and the settled amount don't get blended). Tick the variant that represents the ongoing payment, edit the label or category, then click Add selected to Plan. Only ticked variants are added - one per merchant.
Categories
Built-in categories cannot be renamed or deleted. Custom categories you add here are shared across the Plan and Track tabs. Renaming a category updates every transaction, rule, and Plan item that uses it.
